General Terms and Conditions

On receipt of an on-line enquiry, we shall email you a confirmation of your enquiry for your records. A sale is not accepted until payment is received either by a cleared World Pay payment or PayPal. Credit cards must be accompanied by the security number on the back of the card and deliveries can only be made to the card-holder's address.

Deliveries
All deliveries are to UK mainland addresses only. Unless otherwise agreed, deliveries will be within 3 days of order.

Cancellations
We will exchange goods for different products but additional postage costs could be incurred. Orders can only be cancelled prior to despatch without additional costs being incurred.

Returns
If the goods turn out to be faulty or different from those ordered, we will offer the consumer a full refund or replacement, at the latest, within 30 days of receipt. They must be returned unused and in a saleable condition.  We reserve the right to impose an administration fee for non-faulty items. Product Variations

Because of our large range and the nature of the products, we cannot guarantee that all items are immediately available. We will let you know if any of the items you have ordered are not in stock and hopefully be able to offer an alternative. Because of the type of products we offer there can be slight variations in colour and style. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Taking care of your pearls
 
  ~ Pearls are soft and delicate gems, as an organic substance; pearls need a little looking after.  A little care invested in your pearls will pay off in the long run.
  ~ To minimize contact with perfume, make-up, perspiration etc. which can alter your pearls’ luster or colour; your pearls should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. 
  ~ Since pearls contain calcium carbonate, they can be damaged by acids. 
  ~ Protect your pearls from chemicals such as vinegar, alcohol, ammonia, hairspray, bleach, perfume, swimming pool water and cosmetics.
  ~ Wipe your pearls gently with a warm damp cloth to remove body oils before putting them away.
  ~ Wear your pearls often to allow them to breathe.
  ~ Keep your pearls straight if possible and protect in soft       material.
  ~ Do not let your pearls rub against hard objects such as gold and diamond jewellery.
  ~ Avoid very dry or extreme heat conditions.
  ~ f not worn frequently, storing your pearls in slightly damp linen will prevent them drying out.
  ~ If you scratch a pearl skin, use olive oil to gently rub on the scratched area.

Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes:
* your name
* address
* phone number
* email address

We do not see or hold your credit card details. All payment is via a third party secure site.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This includes using a "cookie" which is stored on your browser. The cookie only stores the content of your "shopping basket", but does not store any personal information. The cookies are automatically deleted when you quit/exit your browser.
